[ Kurou doesn’t even flinch, bringing out his flute and twirling it. ] No, seriously, dude, you need to calm down. You’re not like the ghosts from my world, yeah. But the difference ain’t the forever part. The difference is your actions actually affect the living world. My ghosts can’t do that. Nobody notices ‘em. It’s like they don’t even exist.
And because you can do stuff like that, you need to control yourself. You could hurt someone.
There was a long, awkward pause before Danny spoke up again. “…I guess that’s worse than my situation. And yeah, I still have to learn how to control my powers better…” Danny rubbed the back of his neck sheepishly. “Sorry…”

“…Danny Phantom. And most ghosts don’t appreciate being reminded of the fact that they’re dead.” Okay, maybe the latter sentence was a bit harsh, but Danny was more than a bit upset.

…how did he not understand? “But it’s not! Dying is forever where I come from, if you hadn’t noticed.
“Oh, and it really doesn’t help that my parents are ghost hunters who want to tear me apart molecule by molecule, just because I happen to be a ghost. I mean, yeah, I feel things differently now, so that apparently gives every human a right to gang up on the dead kid! Why doesn’t anyone get it?! I just want to be treated like everyone else!!” The last part came out as a small ghostly wail, causing any nearby glass to shatter.

Danny grinned, not noticing the bit about Terra. “Cool! …Do any of them hate ghosts, or do you’d think they’d like to meet me?” Danny hadn’t really met anyone who obviously had powers before…well, discounting the ghosts he’d met in the ghost zone.
He tapped his chin and shook his head. “Don’t think so…I mean we’ve never had to fight a ghost before…and I actually think Raven would find it cool! She’s into all that kinda stuff!”
“Cool! If you don’t mind, I think I’m gonna go look for them. They shouldn’t be too hard to find, right?” Danny floated a bit higher, preparing to fly away if Beast Boy didn’t want to talk about anything else.
“…Really?” Danny perked up a bit. “Like who?” Danny was floating a few inches higher off the ground than usual, his legs still in their wispy, tail-like form.
“Well theres Starfire, she’s an alien and can fly and shoot these beams out of her eyes and out of her hands!” He made hand motions. “Then theres Raven…there was Terra….” He looked sad for a moment and quickly covered it up. “Kid Flash, Aqualad, Bumblebee….like I said, lotsa people!”
